If you’ve not been to Cape Eleuthera recently, or haven’t been at all, it’s certainly worth the trip.
They’ve not only developed an impressive marina and accommodations but two fabulous beaches as well.
The Cape Eleuthera Resort and Marina is running two specials right now – and one exclusively for the Elusive Values of Eleuthera readers!
Special No. 1 (for our very special readers)
From now until December 21, 2009 – at the Bahama Coffee Company Restaurant – Buy any pizza and get the second one free! Be sure to print out the coupon and present it when ordering.
The Bahama Coffee Company Restaurant is open every day of the year 7am-10pm and specializes in home baked breads and desserts. It is also a full service waterfront restaurant and full bar with a fine wine list and features specialty beverages, home made stacked high deli sandwiches, local seafood, steaks, chops and Bahamian fare such as conch and lobster.
Special No. 2 (for Bahamian’s only)
The Marina is offering $200/month dockage for any vessel under 30 ft. or $150/month for a vessel on a trailer stored in their utility yard, which is adjacent to the marina and has 24 hr. security. (note: Bahamian ID required)
If you are going to visit from elsewhere in Eleuthera you should plan to make a day of it.
Along the way, you may also want to visit Cape Eleuthera Institute (a facility that promotes a connection between people and the environment) and The Island School (challenges students with a non-traditional high school curriculum) which are both very interesting.
