A View of Surfers Beach

It is truly amazing the number of “hits” you get when you “Google” Eleuthera. We find this amazing because of the number of times we have mentioned Eleuthera to friends and acquaintances and have frequently received blank stares or, at the very least, a puzzled “What?”

Of course, we are more than happy to wax poetic about this beautiful island to those who have never even heard about it. And, so are many other websites.

Here’s a few of our favourite sites that give lots of good information:

Eleuthera.com and eleu.net – have lots of great information and a Newsgroup as well. Please visit their sister site as well – Bahamas4U – for lots of information on all of the Bahamas

Discover-Eleuthera-Bahamas.com – is another site that gives you a multitude of information about Eleuthera. It is written and maintained by a couple living their dream on Eleuthera.

Eleuthera-map.com is a great place for – you guessed it – maps! And, also bunches of other types of information.

Eleuthera Living is also packed full of good information. It appears this site may not have been updated for a while, however lots of information is still accurate and the tide charts give current information.

The Eleutheran Newspaper – has a print version that is available once a month and is online as well.

We’re only just scratching the surface here. And, I’m sure lots of you have favourite sites as well. If so, be sure to let us know what they are and perhaps we can give them a mention, too.
