One of the Best Lunch Values on Eleuthera

Lunch with Gerald Stuart
Tucked away in a small café and gift shop just across from North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) you’ll find one of the best lunch values on the island.
Just recently we had the opportunity to have lunch with Gerald Stuart, the owner of North Eleuthera Craft and Snack, and try the lunch specials that are offered at a great price.
One secret you need to know – call ahead, find out what the specials of the day are (there are usually two each day), and order ahead. This way you won’t be disappointed. The café has many regulars who do just that – order ahead. So, if they know you’re coming, they’ll be sure to make enough and have it piping hot for you when you arrive.
Each lunch special is only $8. The day we were there the two specials were bbq pork and spicy chicken wings. The meals also included a ham & pasta salad, fried plantain and green peas. Everything was very tasty and so filling that we had a very small dinner that night.
Lunch is served from Noon until 3pm – but as we said above – call ahead so you’re not disappointed.

There are now several ATMs available on Eleuthera.

The North Eleuthera Sailing Regatta is a major event within the islands of the Bahamas and Class A, B, and C boats are invited for competition.
We are pleased to announce that the Romora Bay Club is offering special room rates during the North Eleuthera Sailing Regatta.
We frequently get questions about where people can buy The Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera book and the Images of Eleuthera DVD. We would prefer that you buy them locally and here are the places that normally have the book or the DVD or both:
