Reminder – Haiti Earthquake Relief

Let’s not forget that Haiti still needs ongoing assistance as they try to rebuild their country.

Here’s where you can donate aid to the Red Cross in Eleuthera:

The Rainbow Inn is accepting:

  • non-perishable food items
  • toiletries
  • small donations

The South Eleuthera Mission is accepting:

  • Non-perishable can goods
  • Toiletries
  • Monetary Donations  – (please contact The Red Cross directly)

South Eleuthera Mission Children’s Christmas Social

December 14th, 2009

angelThe South Eleuthera Mission will be holding a Christmas Social for children between the ages of 6 and 12 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday, December 18, 2009.

The following activities will take place during the event:

  • Arts & Crafts – the children will make Christmas ornaments
  • Children will decorate a Christmas tree with the ornaments they make
  • Story Time – The Christmas Story (Story of Jesus’ Birth) will be read
  • Children will sing Christmas carols
  • Children will serve light refreshments

The South Eleuthera Mission is requesting monetary donations between $25.00 and $50.00 towards the art & craft materials, food & drink and small gifts for the children attending this event.
