Boxing Day this year brought some real excitement to the Aulin Family.

Kirk Jr, Jake and their mother, Patricia, Aulin were fishing off of Spanish Wells on December 26, 2009.

On their way back into shore they noticed a humpback whale in trouble and raced to the rescue.

You can read the whole story in The Eleutheran article A Whale of a Boxing Day Story.

The Aulins, Kirk Sr, Patricia, Kirk Jr and Jake, manage The Cove Eleuthera Resort.

Bravo to the Aulin Family for doing such a selfless and caring thing.
